What is a Learning Consortium?  Costs of developing and delivering training programs can be shared among multiple organizations that participate in the consortium. This allows each organization to benefit from the training programs without having to bear the full cost of developing and delivering the programs themselves.

WHY JOIN THE MLC

The Mainframe Learning Consortium is a collaborative platform between Knowledge Transfer, instructors, influencers, corporations, state and federal agencies aimed at addressing the challenge of replenishing the mainframe workforce as long-time mainframers approach retirement. The consortium aims to lower training and recruiting costs by sharing costs through economies of scale, offering a US DOL approved apprenticeship program that multiple members can participate in, and exploring innovative training program design.
